MIDDLEBERE QUAY Today

This is a view along the completely disappeared track formation looking towards the area of the Middlebere Quay in January 2007. For more photographs see the 1901 map below and click on the cameras The photographs will open in a new window. Close that window to return to map.

Another visit in October 2007 showed that the clearance was only temporary and the gorse and brambles are returning quickly.   What is left of the pier is hidden in the reeds, as can be seen from the view below taken from the RSPB bird hide opposite.
